Happy New Year

Hi Everyone,

I hope you all had a very merry Christmas.

Mine was pretty relaxed, it was very hot here in my part of the world so my family made lovely cold meats and salads and Pavlova and fruit for dessert.

Sorry I have not given my blog much attention lately I have been very busy filling orders for my Etsy shop in the lead up to Xmas, thank you to all of my loyal followers for your custom over the past year, I love making little items for you and seeing them in their new homes.

One of my Easy items (sorry sold)
I have made some progress on my Grosvenor Hall project, it is slow going though as I have to wait ages for materials to be delivered from overseas.
really happy with this room...

I intend to use "Artisan" items in this house and have made some lovely purchases from my favourite Etsy shops.

I will start the attic rooms shortly however I need to find a lower work table as the house is so big I can't reach them at present! its not easy being short! lol
The rooms will become a nursery/ playroom and the bathroom.

I have finished all three hallways exactly the same way.

The Dining Room

The troublesome bedroom!

This is the bedroom I'm having trouble with as the bed seems to "disappear" in to the wallpaper. I am currently revamping an old bed which I will probably use to replace this one.

Till next time happy miniaturing,
Debby:)

  1. Lots of gorgeous eye candy! Your sugary sweet colours are just my cup of tea! For the record, I don't think the bed gets too lost in the wallpaper - the canopy draws attention to it.

We are having a very strange summer down south - lots of rain on and off over the last few months, although thankfully not as much as they've predicted most of the time. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

  2. Hi Debby! I can't get over how Beautiful your rooms are. You have decorated them with taste and sensitivity, and an Excellent sense of Style. I do agree that the canopied bed gets somewhat over-looked but I believe that if the canopy was raised up, then the bed would stand out more.
I really love how you divided the red room, and does it ever draw the eye in!!!
    WOW!
